How To Be A Bind-It-All Know-It-All is the name of one of our classes that we will be teaching at the National Conventions all year for 2009. This class focuses on a 15 minute video tutorial to start the class out that features the Bind-It-All machine, proper usage, how to punch holes and how to bind o-wires followed by a short question and answer session. You will then get a full hour and ten minutes of hands on experience with the Bind-It-All machine, the Dreamkuts machine, the Round-It-All, Zutter Acrylic, Zutter Cover-Alls, o-wire application, punching and binding, rivet setting and more. You will complete a 3" x 4" acrylic calendar album using Teresa Collins Journal-It papers. You will complete a 7 1/2" x 5" Cover-All Receipe book using Teresa Collins Bon Appetit and Haute Couture papers. Attendees need to bring a 1/8" hole punch or Cropadile setter and black and brown distress inks.

1) Paint the chipboard piece with Scattered Straw Distress Crackle Paint. Let it dry completely. You can use a heating tool to speed up this process.

2) Apply some black diamond Stickles onto it and spread it out using your fingers. Let it dry.

The results from this technique are easy to achieve and amazing in sight! Try it out yourself!

Creating Keepsakes Conventions Simple Schemes Album Crop 2009 We are going to be teaching a one page layout at the Thursday night Simple Schemes Crop featuring products by Teresa Collins Designs. Teresa has been sweet enough to donate all the patterned papers from her Damask collection for this crop and we will be teaching this layout. The Simple Schemes Crop is so cool. We are assigned a base sketch as a company and have to design a layout based on that sketch that can be taught in 15 minutes or less. When the class attendees leave the crop, they will have tons of sketches and tons of layouts to take home. I think it's an awesome concept - all 12" x 12" pages and something that can really teach peole how to use sketches, flip them around and adapt them to their personal use. Here's our sketch and our layout for this year.

A Taste of Scraptique Part Deux is the name of one of our classes that we will be teaching at the National Conventions all year for 2009. This is the first layout that we will teach. It is based around papers by Teresa Collins Designs and features lots of layering, embellishing, Prima flowers and more. The file folder flip file on the lower right hand actually has three files that are layered for photos and more journaling. I love the way it turned out! Attendees need to bring an eyelet setter for this layout, black distress inks and a paper piercer. The ribbons at the bottom of the file folder are tied through punches made with the Bind-It-All machine which we will have in class for you to use.
